The guided tour

The first time you sign in, Assistant Coach offers a quick guided tour. In about five minutes it walks you through a full week of coaching using a demo client called Emma, so you can see how everything fits together before you bring in a real client.

Nothing in the tour is real — Emma is a demo client with made-up data — so click around as much as you like. You can stop at any point and pick it up again later.

We tailor it to how you coach

Before the tour starts, we ask one question: how do you coach most of your clients?

  • Online — they train on their own and check in with you remotely.
  • In person — you train them, and you'll often log their sessions yourself.
  • A bit of both.

Your answer shapes what the tour shows you, so it matches the way you actually work:

  • If your clients are online, the tour follows a client's week through the app — their check-in, progress photos, logged workouts, and your reply.
  • If you coach in person, it shows how to log a client's workout and record their weight, measurements, and photos yourself — so their whole journey is tracked even if they never open the app. It also shows that, whenever they're ready, your clients can use the app themselves.

You don't have to answer — if you skip the question, you'll get the standard walkthrough.

Redo it anytime

Want to run through it again, or answer the question differently? Go to Settings and choose Restart walkthrough. You can also update how you coach at any time from Settings, which keeps your tips and setup suggestions relevant.

Setting up as you go

Most of the tour is a look around, but the first stop — your coaching website — is one you can actually set up right there if you're keen. Fill it in and publish, or come back to it later. Everything else, like adding your first real client, is waiting for you on your dashboard's setup checklist whenever you're ready.
