What you can do
Assistant Coach brings your whole coaching practice into one place — clients, check-ins, nutrition, training, workout logging, goals, notes, and your own coaching website. AI works quietly in the background to make each of those faster and sharper, never to replace your coaching. Here's what's available to you today:
Clients
- Client roster — Add clients manually or import in bulk via CSV. Track each client from intake to active coaching, all in one dashboard.
- Client dashboard — A per-client view with tabs for check-ins, plans, goals, notes, and profile info.
- Trend Analysis — Get an AI summary of a client's recent progress across check-ins, goals, and notes. Spot what's improving, what needs attention, and patterns you might have missed.
- What your clients see — Each client gets their own portal to submit check-ins, view plans, track goals, and download PDFs — all branded to your coaching business.
Check-ins
- Weekly check-ins — See body measurements, training metrics, subjective feedback, and progress photos in one view. Compare photos side by side and track trends over time.
- Coach responses — Write and send a response to each check-in, or let AI draft one in your writing style for you to review and edit.
Nutrition
- Meal plans — Build nutrition plans with full macro tracking. Set calorie and macro targets, and export clean PDFs for your clients.
- Calorie & macro calculator — Work out calorie and macro targets for a client without leaving the app.
- Food library — Search a shared food library or add your own foods with full nutritional data.
Training
- Workout plans — Build structured training plans with sessions and exercises — sets, reps, rest periods, and video demo links — and export as PDF.
- Exercise library — Browse, search, and filter exercises by muscle group and equipment. Add your own or import from a starter library.
- Workout logging — Clients log their sessions as they train, so you can see what they actually did, not just what you planned.
- Reviewing workout logs — Check completed sessions, weights, and effort at a glance, and spot when a plan needs adjusting.
- Exercise videos & form review — Clients attach form videos to their logged sets, so you can review technique and send feedback.
Goals & notes
- Goals — Set measurable goals for clients (weight targets, step counts, exercise PRs, and more) and track progress over time with visual charts.
- Habit goals — Track recurring daily habits like steps or water intake alongside outcome goals.
- Notes & to-dos — Keep coaching notes linked to a specific client or check-in. Turn any note into a to-do with a due date and track everything from your dashboard.
Setup
- Custom forms — Build intake questionnaires and weekly check-in forms with your own questions. Assign them to clients, customize per client, and view their responses with uploaded photos.

How this help center works
The help center is organized in two layers:
