Install the App
AssistantCoach works in any browser, but installing it gives you a faster, app-like experience — no address bar, instant launch from your home screen or dock, and it feels like a native app.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
Safari doesn't show an install button automatically. You'll need to add the app manually:
- Open AssistantCoach in Safari (this won't work in Chrome or other iOS browsers)
- Tap the ••• (More) button in the bottom-right corner of Safari
- Tap Share in the menu that appears
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add in the top-right corner
The app will appear on your home screen. When you open it from there, it runs in full-screen mode without Safari's toolbar — just like a native app.
Make sure "Open as Web App" is toggled on (green) in the Add to Home Screen dialog. This is what gives you the full-screen experience.
The home screen app has its own login session, separate from Safari. You'll need to sign in once after installing.
Android (Chrome)
Chrome on Android will show a banner or prompt to install the app automatically. You can also install manually:
- Open AssistantCoach in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app)
- Tap Install
Desktop (Chrome, Edge)
On desktop browsers that support PWA installation:
- Look for the install icon in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow)
- Click it and confirm
Alternatively: open the browser menu and look for "Install AssistantCoach".
What you get after installing
- Quick launch from your home screen, dock, or app launcher
- Full-screen experience without browser chrome (address bar, tabs, etc.)
- App switcher presence — shows as a separate app, not a browser tab
- Works offline for previously loaded pages
