Workout Video Review To-dos
When a client uploads exercise videos during a workout, Assistant Coach creates a to-do for that workout session on your home page.
This gives you a proactive review queue instead of making you hunt through client dashboards to discover new footage.
When a to-do appears
A workout video to-do appears only after a video finishes uploading and becomes reviewable.
- Only finalized exercise videos create a to-do
- Videos that are still uploading, queued, failed, or deleted do not create one
- Multiple finalized videos from the same workout session are grouped into one to-do
The to-do title shows how many videos were uploaded and which session they belong to, for example:
1 video from Lower Body A3 videos from Push Day
Opening the review
Clicking the to-do opens the correct client dashboard and jumps straight into:
- Workouts
- Logs
- The matching workout log drawer
From there, you can watch the videos, review the workout details, and coach the session without manually navigating to the right tab.
How a workout video to-do is completed
You can clear the to-do in any of three ways:
- Leave a comment on any video in that workout session
- Save session-level Coach Feedback
- Click Mark session reviewed
All three actions mark the full session as reviewed. The system keeps the first review timestamp so you have a stable record of when that review cycle was completed.
When the to-do comes back
If the client uploads another video to the same workout session later, the session becomes reviewable again and the to-do reappears.
This keeps the session open only when there is genuinely new footage for you to watch.
Due dates and SLA
Workout video to-dos use your coach-wide Workout video review SLA (hours) setting.
To update it:
- Open Settings
- Go to Coach defaults
- Change Workout video review SLA (hours)
This is a global default for all workout video reviews. Version 1 does not support per-to-do due date overrides.
